At 76, Vicente lives a carefree and openly gay life in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria. But after an unexpected accident, he is forced to return to San Sebastián, where he must confront his daughter and move into a care home. There, he finds himself pressured to hide his sexuality once again.

Maspalomas is a moving and life-affirming story about love, identity, ageing and the right to be oneself – even when the world around you tries to define who you should be.
