Nationerna är kända för alla sina studentikosa traditioner, men vad innebär de egentligen? Vad är en klädkod? Vad skiljer en sexa från en gasque? Och vad är grejen med alla sånger? Vill du som recce upptäcka nationshuset och få en inblick i ÖGs aktiviteter och föreningar? Här har du din chans, på Östgöta nations reccemottagning!!
Vi börjar kvällen med en rundgång i huset och kvällen avslutas sedan med en hejdundrande sexa i stora salen där vi kommer att ge er en praktisk demonstration av hur en sittning går till från början till slut. Vi kommer att visa en exempeldukning och prata om olika klädkoder för att illustrera vad som förväntas. Självklart blir det också ett ypperligt tillfälle att inviga sångboken (finns att köpa eller låna) och ställa alla era frågor till oss reccevärdar. Kom och sjung, snacka, ät och drick gott med oss, så ska vi lära er allt vi kan! Anmäl er i inskrivningen.

The student nations are known for all their unique student traditions, but what do they really involve? What is a dress code? What's the difference between a 'sexa' and a 'gasque'? And what's the deal with all the songs? Are you a new student who wants to discover the nation house and get a closer look at the various activities that ÖG offers? Here's your chance, at Östgöta nations recce-reception!! We'll start the evening with a walk through the house, and then round off with a sexa (a more relaxed dinner) in the great hall! We will give you a practical demonstration of how a 'sittning' (a formal dinner party) works from start to finish. This will include an example table setting to show you what the table should look like and a dress code showcase to illustrate what's expected. Of course, it's also a perfect opportunity to break in your songbook (available to buy or borrow) and ask all your questions to us, the recce hosts. Last day to sign up is the 11th!
